Farabella gluten-free Bucatini, like all Bucatini, look like thick spaghetti but, unlike spaghetti, they are hollow. This allows for a larger surface area of the pasta to be in contact with the water, drastically reducing cooking time.
Typical of the Lazio region, particularly Rome, they have become characteristic of all of central and southern Italy. They are excellent with just a simple tomato sauce, but ideal for richer sauces.
They are known, in fact, for historical preparations such as "Amatriciana" or "Carbonara," but also "Gricia" or "Pizzaiola." Excellent "alla Siciliana," but it would be a shame not to enjoy them in baked dishes, such as timbales. For a truly all-around taste experience!
